About

SaafBaat is a webzine that encourages independent, fearless and well researched articles. We have tried to categorise them as best as we could. These have been added in no particular order. We currently do not publish articles on any particular schedule.

Our editorial standards demand that authors have credited and referenced their sources in all the articles. Whenever they make any factual claim in their articles, they are encouraged to either immediately provide a link to the source, or list the references for a particular article at the end. Much of the analysis on our site is based on factual material and derived from research into related reports, media articles, papers in journals and books on the subjects.

These references are numbered, will typically be mentioned in a standard square bracket with the reference #, for example [1].

A number or a symbol next to a word 1 , indicates a footnote, many of which will display the footnote comment when you click on them.

There are several sentences and paragraphs in the articles that are copied verbatim from our sources, our authors acknowledge this is derived work, and have utmost respect for their source material, and these should not be seen as any attempt at plagiarism, rather an acknowledgement that our authors couldn’t have said it better than the other quoted authors.

This is how most quoted sentences would appear in our articles

Opinion pieces are our author’s own original work.

Several images available in public domain have been used in this webzine.

Feedback and comments are most welcome, but the editor reserves the right to remove comments that are deemed abusive, Ad Hominem personal attacks, or accusatory criticism without any backing arguments, or spam.

  • I liked your article on Bhakt. I hope to read more and be engaged with Saafbaat. Its a strong voice of reason . I am not finding the people who run Saafbaat. I am wary of engaging with anonymous people, even if you are reasonable. Please share your identities and your credentials openly so that people like me can support your voice with convivtion. Thank you

  • If objectivity is maintained and improved further it might create more viewership. These days Tags get stuck- Bhakt, Sold out, Leli, Khangressi… Hope you keep away from getting labelled. There is a great market of fence sitters waiting for well researched articles.
